planting season. spring 2013

We planted our Spring 2013 group of seeds yesterday in our handmade cedar planters. Herb and window boxes have been filled with our custom soil mix and our little baby seeds have nestled into their new homes and started to come to life! Now if the sun would come out, they might wake up and peek through their covers soon so we can see them start stretching toward the sky. ;)

We planted tomatoes, zucchini, bell pepper (purple), cucumber, sunflower, thyme (German winter and English), borage, basil (sweet), cilantro, oregano, chives, and two varieties of poppies.
