Z Best One

written by erin // photos via cell phone camera // Okay, some of ya'll know that I have a plethora of food allergies and therefore rarely, if ever, am able to eat out. The last time we met friends for lunch, I could only order a side of guacamole. Now, I love to eat good, healthful food, so only being able to order a side of guac & only being able to order it from one restaurant = no desire to eat out. Uuuuuuntil now. Now, friends, I think I could easily become addicted...to zpizza.

Jon and I were on our way to Sprouts a few days ago when we saw a sign on the corner for zpizza. We had never heard of zpizza, but their tagline, "the pure one" caught our attention and we looked them up online. Seeing that they used organic ingredients and were not fans of processed junk, chemicals, and additives piqued our interest enough for us to stop in after picking up our groceries.

The manager was super helpful with making sure the items we wanted to order were free of the things I'm allergic to. Their menu featured so many yummy pizza combinations. We ordered the Napoli pizza with a side of marinara. The sauce for the Napoli is a roasted garlic sauce, so we ordered the side of marinara so we could give their sauce a try while we were there too. (The Napoli is similar to a margherita pizza...mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, etc.)

It didn't take long for them to make and fire our pizza. We browsed their menu while we waited. The atmosphere at our location was super fun. Very chill and "beachy." (By the way, I think they deliver locally via bicycle...totally rad.)

It was super hard not to just devour our pizza in the car during the trip home, but we were good little germ freaks and waited until we could wash our hands. ;) I love zpizza's photography and packaging.

Hello, yummy goodness!

Best part? It tasted amazing and didn't make me sick. ;) If you live in Orange County, I think you should head on over to try their pizza. They have other menu options, too, but you should still try their pizza. The location we found was at the corner of Brookhurst and Adams in Huntington Beach. Texas friends, there's a location pretty near you over in Flower Mound if you want to give it a try. Live elsewhere and want to see if there's a location close to you? Check here.

We're definitely planning on including their pizza in our date nights. =) So glad we found zpizza!
